BotoxCloud
BotoxCloud is a reactive modular lighting system which hovers over you head like a cloud. The installation yields various possible structural manifestations. For example, when the light comes through the paper models, its physicality changes. Its light reflective nature and its polygonic configuration give an impression of an ever-changing design object. Botoxcloud is designed by agency SAQ based in Brussels and Berlin. German creative company Zirkumflex, on the occasion of the first edition of DAS weekend and Transmediale 2011.

Organizing the bookcase
Even if i'm a bit bored of stop motion movies, i have to say that this one kept me looking at it till the last second. Hats off to Lisa Blonder Ohlenkamp and Sean Ohlenkamp who had the patience to move every single book to get the result they did.

Super Normal / Sensations of the Ordinary
"Why do so many designs fail to pass the everyday test? Why is Normal disappearing, and when it's gone how do we replace it? Is beauty just a question of looks, or could there be more to it than meets the eyes? What makes a good object, and how come some objects get better whit time?"

Hipster are dead (already some time ago)(and we are happy!)
I just found this article online and i like the way the author describe this phenomenon. I have been always so much into anti-hipster movement. Here is a small extract from it: "An artificial appropriation of different styles from different eras, the hipster represents the end of Western civilization – a culture lost in the superficiality of its past and unable to create any new meaning". If you have 10 min, take a cup of tea, sit on your vintage armchair and wear your biggest glasses to read it (in front of your mac of course).
