Tinaa

Trailer of an interesting research by Alexander Negrelli, about German graphic designer Otl Aicher.
It’s not only a book about the visual identity of the Olympic Games in 1972. It’s a complex project that shows the connections between terrorists and design, gold medals, movies, sneakers, politics, maps, architecture and logos.
The results of the research at JanVanEyck-academy in Maastricht will be published in 2012.
Looking forward!

Our Choice

Quoting Carlo Vezzoli, “transition towards sustainability requires radical changhes in the way we produce and consume and, more in general, in the way we live”. The prospect of sustainability necessarily places the very model of developement under discussion. In future decades we must be able to move from a society in which well-being and affluence are measured by the production and consumption of goods, to one in which people live better consuming (much) less. World needs to our choice.

Nam

NAM is a Tokyo-based graphic/art collective, formed in May 2006. NAM works is always special and i definitly love the atmospheres of their pictures. That’s when graphic design becomes “visualization” of ideas. Space composition.
And, furthermore, for the first time i don’t find annoying the background sound of their website!
